Luciano Spalletti led his Inter squad to a 3-2 victory in their derby against Milan. The manager spoke to Sky Sport after the exciting match.

"When you play an ugly match and get knocked out of Europa League, and if you don't understand what happened, you risk bringing that slack from previous games. We needed to restore roles and behaviors, bringing it back inside the behavior of the team. No more thoughts, analysis or diagnosis on what happened in Europa League. The team has drawn a line from our previous match against Eintracht."

"You need to say great job to Lautaro for his penalty. In him we found an attacker that can help us. Same to Politano, Perisic. All of them were great and exceeded their challenged. Compliments to those we have inside our locker room. It's helpful to be close to the team. Milan played a good match and had some odds in their favor. Going onto the pitch and playing football wasn't easy. They played a great match and Gattuso should be happy with their performance. The two teams honored the beauty of football and the derby."
