With a manager in place, Lazio are starting to work to build their squad for the upcoming season. Their Sporting Director Igli Tare met with Maurizio Sarri to discuss the tranfer market.
Both of them have set their objectives according to the club's priorities, which includes reinforcements for their defence.
Lazio have set Pierluigi Gollini, Atalanta's goalkeeper, as one the objectives. Gasperini would to bring in a goalkeeping prospect (Musso would be first choice) and this would force Gollini to search for another squad.
Sarri would be looking to bring in wing backs to add depth and the first name on the list is Benfica's Nuno Tavares.
There is a meeting scheduled between Tavares's agent and the Biancoceleste. Lazio want to understand the conditions which would allow the player to leave. Napoli is also interested in Tavares and he is valued at 15 million euros.
