Sampdoria have got off to an impressive start of the season, reaching the fifth place so far and managing to conced only four goals. Good part of the credit for this surprising defensive achievement goes to their goalkeeper Emil Audero, who is enjoying a great first part of the season with the Blucerchiati after joining from Juventus in the summer. "It's always positive when people say nice things about you, but as far as I am concerned I don't think about it that much. It's just the beginning, I have to keep it going", Audero said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Buffon? He texted me at the start of the season. I am not afraid of competition, it's a normal part of football and life. Giampaolo? I like him. We are getting good results and playing a good football, but that no surprise under Giampaolo".
