While the transfer window closed last Tuesday, clubs can still sign players out of a contract. In addition to Franck Ribery, Salernitana are also trying to sign Nicolas Viola.
The former Benevento midfielder is currently training in Reggio Calabria, and although he has numerous offers, he would like to stay in Italy, he would accept an annual salary or €600,000 and is in contact with Salernitana.
Last season at Benevento, Viola appeared in 17 matches scoring 5 goals to go with 3 assists.
