Roma are set to replace their coach, with Claudio Ranieri the name to replace the sacked Eusebio Di Francesco. Monchi's marginal role in the dealings with Ranieri are a clear sign that Monchi could be on the way out.
Monchi's decision could be to leave Roma some months early, as had been rumored to be the case, as he has tied himself to Di Francesco's project. Monchi's destination could be Arsenal, where he would reunite with Emery from the pair's time together at Sevilla. Meanwhile, Roma's future coach is set to arrive in the city by lunchtime on Friday.
