Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini spoke to Sky Sport about his future at the club and their current hunt for a Champions League spot.
"Future? I don't know, I'm doing well here. I'm at home in Rome, and the giallorossa club is one of the most important in Italy. I'm not looking for a new club, but we'll see. Staying here would make me very proud and I'd be honored, but there are dynamics that many times you're unable to control."
"We've gone two matches without allowing a goal, we need to continue like this and win also the next match, even if it will be difficult. Is the match against Inter decisive for Champions League? No, because until we're mathematically eliminated nothing is decisive. But it allows us to close the gap on Inter themselves, there are many teams close in points, anything can happen from here. But our main objective is surely Champions League. Third or fourth place, it doesn't matter."
On new manager Ranieri: "We're surely more compact than before, it's what we work on during the week. Staying short, even if we did this also with Di Francesco, we lacked compactness for a while at the end. Then it's normal that with victories you rediscover serenity and peace. Ranieri is very strong at this, he gave us the right serenity and happiness to go on the pitch and train."
On his season to date: "I took away some satisfaction from myself, but it wasn't the season that I expected. I wasn't able to play with continuity due to injuries, every time I got healthy I got hurt again. It was a season of growth. Now we hope to arrive in Champions, otherwise it would be a great displeasure."
