After almost a full calendar year, Edin Dzeko scored at the Olimpico in a key game for the race for the Champions League. While the Bosnian striker and the club are now focused on returning to Europe’s to competition, at the end of the season they’ll have to decide if they’ll continue their partnership.

Dzeko is currently the highest earner on the squad and his current contract expires in 2020, he’ll ether extend his current deal or be sold this summer. Roma are looking to lower their wage bill, while Dzeko would be interested in extending his contract at the current figures, especially since he has a significant offer from West Ham. The Bosnian striker has also suitors in Turkey, as well as Borussia Dortmund and Inter where he could arrive should Mauro Icardi be sold.

Because one has just one year left on his deal, Dzeko will either extend his contract or be sold in the summer, Roma are looking for around €20 million as a return. These could be Dzeko’s last six matches in Italy’s capital.
