Roma, together with Sassuolo, are searching for a compromise in the deal to bring in Eusebio Di Francesco. The Sassuolo owner Squinzi is open to letting his coach leave, and thanks to the good relationship between the teams there is now a path for Di Francesco to become Roma's new coach. The teams now just have to discuss what players could be involved in the deal at the start of next week when the Roma directors return from Boston, where they have been meeting with Pallotta the club president. Di Francesco is currently tied to Sassuolo with a €3m exit clause in his contract. Roma has already reached an agreement with Di Francesco for €1.5m net per season for two years, with an option for a third.
