According to a report by Manuele Baiocchini of Sky Sport, Alberto Aquilani is considering a return to Serie A. There is interest in the midfielder from Pescara, who are looking for a replacement for Massimo Oddo. With a year remaining on his contract with Sporting Clube de Portugal, Aquilani would most likely be departing Portuguese shores anyway. Pescara, not the only club interested, could benefit from Aquilani's desires to return to Italy. They have a two-year contract ready now to present to the ex-Milan, Roma, Fiorentina, and Liverpool player.
