Perugia, Diamanti:”We reached an agreement in three minutes, I didn’t want to go abroad”

After being without a team since last summer, Alessandro Diamanti is starting the next chapter of his career in Serie B. The former Bologna striker talked about his decision to join Perugia during his introductory press conference today:”We only needed three minutes to reach an agreement, now we must just focus on working these three months and then for the future we’ll see. I chose Perugia after the first chat with the president, I liked him right away. Plus I’ve always liked this club, dating back to Ravenelli and Nakata. The fans have a lot of affection for the team and that is very important. I didn’t want to go abroad, I had already had that experience and I didn’t want to. What can I promise? I don’t sell dreams, I’m a humble person that doesn’t talk a lot. My goal is to work hard in silence and be available for my teammates
