In Italy there was an argument recently beteen Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Balotelli, but it seems as if the moment of peace has arrived. It all began when Chiellini's autobiography, titled I Giorgio, released an expert where the Juventus captain referred to Balotelli as a "negative person, without respect for the group and who needs a slap," referring to episodes that happened in the 2013 Confederations Cup.
The striker responded, saying "I at least have the courage to say things to someone's face." Thanks to the show Le Iene the reconciliation has occurred. Balotelli even sent Chiellini a shirt with a dedication, and said "Even though you unexpectedly stabbed me in the back, I still love you, a hug, legend!"
Chiellini responded through a videocall and said: "I was undecided as to whether to put it in or not, but to leave it out would have made me feel like a hypocrite. To Mario, by making mistakes I have learned a lot and I continue to do so day after day. I wish you the best, and I hope to see you again on the field soon!"
