During the January window, Juventus completed a deal to acquire Dejan Kulusevski for next season. His current manager at Parma, Roberto D'Aversa described him in a recent interview with Tuttosport:"We got him in the summer from Atalanta, we thought we were adding a young player with quality to develop. But after three or four practices, we all understood we wouldn't enjoy him for long. He has great phsycal tools, great technique and a winning mentality: he's a winner. If you challenge him, he reacts right away but with politeness and in a positive manner"
D'Aversa went on:"He grew up at Atalanta and when you leave that school you rarely don't have important mental attributes. I always tell him to look at how calm Ilicic is in the box. He's an athlete that can play as a trequartista, he works a ton when you don't have possession and is good between the lines. He was born in 2000, he's ready to be a starter and he runs thirteen kilometers a match, he combines quality and quantity"
