It is now official: Palermo has decided to sack manager Roberto Stellone. The manager is paying for the team's tie against Padova, as the rosanero sit in third place in the standings. For the time being, the club will now be trusted in the hands of Giuseppe Scurto, manager of the Primavera. The club will continue their evaluations for the position, and the biggest favorite to take over this summer is Delio Rossi. The club also tried for Guidolin, but were told no. Rossi could be confirmed as the new manager at the end of the season. Below is the team's official statement:

The First Team will be temporarily managed by Primavera manager Giuseppe Scurto, who will manage this afternoon's training session with goalkeeper coach Vincenzo Sicignano."
