Napoli push to make Pezzella the replacement should Koulibaly leave the club

If Kalidou Koulibaly leaves, as there remains strong interest around Europe's biggest teams for him, the idea gaining momentum as a replacement is German Pezzella from Fiorentina. Napoli had contacts in February with the defender, and having been made aware of his wishes, are ready to make the push to bring him in. The alternative is Brazilian Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, the same club with which Napoli is negotiating with for Osimhen. Pezzella is the favored option thanks to his experience in Serie A and because he would allow the club to keep a foreign player slot open for another future signing.
