Milan is off to a rough start, losing nine points from their first five matches. This evening they lost 2-1 to Torino after controlling the match, and their coach Giampaolo had this to say to Sky Sport after the match: "Control of the match makes the difference. To know to defend while controlling the ball is fundamental, today we were able to do a lot of things that we were unable to do in the last matches. We never had the cynicism to close the match, in four minutes they came back and we even had a few chances to tie the game. We are talking, in my opinion, of the best game played by this Milan."
"I hope that my guys don't stop because the base is there but you also need the results, which aren't arriving at the moment. I took Bennacer and Leao out because the first had a yellow and I needed another attacker, the second was strong in the start but he seemed tired. Torino is more physical than us, to win it took quality and from there came the idea to put Bonaventura in the game, because he has tons of quality and plays intelligently."
