Milan and Inter’s futures at San Siro was one of the main story lines during the international break. The rossoneri’s president Paolo Scaroni gave an update on the stadium front in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore:”I would also miss San Siro but I have more nostalgia for a winning Milan. Should we build on public land it seems obvious to the structure would also be public. That’s not a problem for us as long as Palazzo Marino accounts for this when deciding the length and terms of the concession. My goal is to make the most beautiful stadium in the world in Milano”
”Restructuring San Siro? It’s not practical for objective reasons, you can’t have invasive work done while playing every three days and keeping the teams away for three years seems unacceptable to me. Compared to other teams in same city, Milan and Inter have shown they can share a space”.
