Milan make progress in Mandzukic and Tomori negotiations: both players could arrive in Italy in the next few days

Milan have made progress in their pursuit of Mario Mandzukic. In the last few hours the parties have held talks and positive sign towards an imminent conclusion of the deal have emerged.

The player's agents are waiting for the final greenlight from Milan to complete the deal. The player will sign a 6-months contract with an option to extend the agreement tied to the apperances that the striker would make and to the possible qualification to the Champions League of the Rossoneri.

The deal is now down to the minute details, so much so that the player could reach Milano on Monday to have a medical and sign the contract with his new club. Milan have decided to step up their interest in the former Juventus player following the news of Calhanoglu testing positive to Covid-19.

On the centre-back front, Milan are also closing in on reaching an agreement for the loan of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea. Following Simakan's injury, which will keep him sidelined for two months, the Rossoneri have decided to boost their pursuit of Fikayo Tomori. The 23-year-old centre-back is expected to arrive in Milano in the coming days, with Milan confident they can settle the final details of the agreement with Chelsea on the basis of a loan with option to buy set a €30 million.
