In Seville he was called El Capo, now in England he will be a Coach: Enzo Maresca will be the new head coach of Manchester City U23 team.

The youth sector manager, Jason Wilcox, have done a safe choice, giving the lead of the team to the most international Italian man of this years: Maresca has been travelling between Spain, England and Greece, he managed to know different styles of football, both on the pitch and on the bench.

After very important pages like the two goals in the 2006 Uefa final, that gave Sevilla the first of their six international trophies, Maresca have coached Ascoli as head coach, but he was also included in Sevilla and Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City staffs. He knows England very well: he started his football path with West Bromwich as a football player, and in 2018 he came back to West Ham under a managerial role. Now he's ready for this new adventure as head coach, under the eye of Pep Guardiola.
