Simone Inzaghi's Lazio squad lost to Milan on a last minute goal by Theo Hernandez. A frustrated Inzaghi spoke with Dazn after the 3-2 loss.
"The result angered me, it's a lie. For what was seen on the pitch, we are disappointed because we came here with formation problems and we kept the pitch in the best of ways. We would have deserved much more. We allowed two goals on a dead ball, but to dominate here at San Siro is a stimulus."
"After tying 2-2, we had the game in hand and we needed to pay more attention. We lost but the players took a lot from this match. Certainly not the result. We did what we wanted to do. We must do much better on the last goal by Hernandez. Luis Alberto left him two meters and those were fatal. I'm sorry for the players who played a great match. The problem is that we must pay more attention. We must work better but as a team. It's not just a problem with the defenders. We are missing some points but we'll make them up once we get some players back."
