Several of Serie A's big teams are pursuing Marash Kumbulla, and the Hellas Verona defender has been given his price tag. The amount his club is asking for is €28m plus €7m in add-ons. Napoli offered €21m plus €4m in January, a sum agreed by Verona at the time, but the club and Kumbulla failed to reach an agreement on terms.
In recent days Verona met with both Juventus and Inter, with the nerazzurri the most convincing partner. Inter has offered cash, players, and the possibility of leaving Kumbulla at Verona another year. Juventus should meet again with Verona this week to demonstrate their intentions ahead of becoming seriously involved. From a technical project and economic perspective, Inter at the moment is the priority and if Juventus decides not to join in, the nerazzurri could be the destination for Kumbulla.
