Juventus lost 2-1 to Verona this evening, in what is a disappointing result for the bianconeri. After the match Maurizio Sarri spoke to DAZN about the match: "we have a difference in performances between home and away matches. It was a difficult game but we knew it would be. We can't lose points because we are taking things lightly. We were superficial today."
"Verona's merits are undoubted, they attacked us the whole game. The mental aspect is one of the most important ones. With that you build tactical and physical performances. We have to understand that winning is not a foregone conclusion and over the years it gets even harder to do. We must fight harder to not have drops in attention. Juve is a team that is accustomed to winning and maybe now we don't realize that we can't waste points. We practice the right way but we can't translate it into games."
