After a long negotiation, Juventus and Sassuolo reached an agreement for Manuel Locatelli. Today's lunch time meeting brought a positive conclusion to the numerous talks between the two clubs.
The clubs had previously reached an agreement on the figures, but the remaining hurdle was on the formula of the deal, with Sassuolo preferring a one year loan deal, while Juventus wanted a two year loan deal with option to buy.
Today Juventus' offered a two year loan deal with a forced option to buy after two years, which would also be triggered after one year should Juve qualify for the Champions League. The option to buy is set at €35 million including bonuses, some hard to achieve, while the loan shouldn't come with a fee.
