Inter and Juventus are both after Luiz Gustavo as Wolfsburg are waiting for the right offer. The Brazilian midfielder has had an agreement with Juventus for some time now but Inter now also have an understanding with the player. Both clubs still have to talk to Wolfsburg. Inter are ready to offer 18 million euros for the player were as Juventus tried getting him on a loan but the German club did not accept.
If Juve really want him, they are going to have to get him on a definitive transfer. Let's not forget that Juve and Wolfsburg have also had discussions concerning Simone Zaza: the striker might leave as Wolfsburg are ready to offer him a 4 year contract worth 4.5 million euros per season. Zaza still hasn't given his approval on a deal since he wants to see if there is the possibility to remain in Italy.
Going back to Juve's midfield, as they wait for a deal to be completed with Manchester United for Paul Pogba, they are evaluating many players: they like Matuidi a lot but talks are only in an initial phase. They also have an agreement with Witsel but they still have to find one with Zenit. There still are some possibilities for Nemanja Matic of Chelsea as the player might try to force an exit. Matic wants to leave London but Antonio Conte wants to keep him.
