After missing the recent matches against Cagliari and Milan because of a minor injury, Joao Cancelo is focusing on returning to the pitch. The Juventus right back spoke to Sky Sport about his condition and the club’s next opponent:”I feel well , the manager didn’t play me because of a muscular injury. But now I feel well and I’m ready to play against Ajax. They’re a truly tough opponent, I saw the match they played against Real Madrid. They have a lot of young talented players and we need to be careful. We are however ready to have the best match possible and get a win to increase our chances of making the semifinal”
Cancelo was also asked about the other Portuguese player on Allegri’s squad:”Ronaldo is practicing, he’s a professional and is doing everything to help the team. I believe he’ll be selected, it will be up to the manager to play him or not”.
