It has been a good season for Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, as he managed to get some more playing time compared to last year. The former Boca Juniors player reviewed his and Juventus's season in an interview with Marca: "Overall, it was a good season. The first six months were even better, since I played more. Serie A improved my tempo, I have time to play the ball and I have more chances to play it. I have to be more agressive and score more goals, though. That's an area of my play that I need to improve. I scored only two goals this season, I want to score more than that. In modern football midfielders have to score goals"
"In my opinion our season was very good - continued Bentancur - regardless of what happened in the Champions League. If we take out the game against Ajax, it was an amazing season. Winning the league in Italy is tougher than the Champions League. European games are very even and there's a quick tempo. The game versus Ajax was a huge disappointment for us, but we will bounce back".
Finally, Bentancur discussed Ronaldo and his Albiceleste teammate Godin, who will play in Serie A with Inter next season: "Ronaldo is a simple guy, yet he is unbeliavable. Everyone his impressed by the way he trains. He doesn't like to lose and that's what made him become who he is now. He wnats to win and score goals. Godin? Last time we played against each other he had already told Vecino about his move to Inter".
