With Italy in lockdown, Javier Zanetti spoke with Afa Play about the coronavirus situation.

"Nobody expected that this epidemic could have exploded in this way. Now Italy is facing a situation of responsibility: the doctors are doing an enormous job and one day after another everything changes. It requires responsibility from individuals. It's not easy, but health is the most important thing. Steven Zhang was telling us about what happened in his country. Everything was closed in China, the streets were deserted. His testimony surely helped us to take the necessary precautions to face this emergency."

"Today we don't have the elements to know when we can return to play. Our social doctor is in constant contact with one of the primary hospitals in this epidemic. We hope little by little we can begin to go out, in the meantime I dedicate myself to the kitchen and for me that's great news. The players? They have their dietary programs and training at home, other than that staying mentally strong is necessary. We'll wait."
