Inter will see some turnover in their dressing room, with the immenent departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea being a major shift in the makeup of the squad. The nerazzurri will decide how to reinvest in this transfer window after selling Lukaku to the Premier League.
The top choice to replace the Belgian in attack is Duvan Zapata from Atalanta. There is already a deal bewteen clubs to bring the striker to Inter. Atalanta look to find a replacement for Zapata, there will be a meeting with Chelsea for Abraham in the coming hours.
Other than Zapata, Inter are looking bring in a second forward, but only on loan or on a Bosman. The nerazzurri have contacted Sassuolo for a loan for Scamacca. There is also the idea of Dzeko, who could move without a fee from Roma if they decide to let him leave the club. At the moment, Mourinho does not want to lose Dzeko and a deal is complicated.
On the right flank, the nerazzurri are not sure about accepting Davide Zappacosta, offered by Chelsea as a possible counterpart in the Lukaku deal.
At the top of their list is Denzel Dumfries, PSV's 25-year-old right back. Inter wants to bring in the Euro 2020 star with the Netherlands, looking to do everything to sign him after the deal for Nandez stalled.
