Inter suffered a loss in the Champions League to Barcelona, 2-0. It was their first loss since their match against Parma on September 15th, and Luciano Spalletti spoke to Sky Sport after the match: "Tottenham tied PSV? What upset me more is the first half, I wanted a team that gives more after having conquered the privilege of playing matches of this kind. We did it in the first two games, instead today we were not courageous in moving the ball around, in creating space for opportunities. They interpreted our approach and took advantage. It needed a different character, because these are nights that can help you grow in self-esteem."
There are still differences between Inter and Barcelona: "They move the ball around faster, they are more creative, they can understand what can happen and look ahead to more than what is just already available. We could not understand what we wanted to do. You can't think of coming here and betting on the counterattack for 90 minutes. Like this you don't leave your mark."
