After one of the most dramatic days in recent Inter history, Mauro Icardi arrived at the club’s training facility at Appiano Gentile despite Spalletti giving a day off to the players who didn’t leave for Austria for tonight’s Europa League match.
Following Inter’s decision to give the captain’s armband to Samir Handanovic, Icardi didn’t travel with his teammates yesterday. Today he joined Keita Balde, who is recovering from an injury, for individual training sessions. For Gagliardini, Joao Mario and Dalbert- players not included in Inter’s UEFA list- today was a full day of rest. Icardi arrived at Appiano Gentile around 930am local time.
