Saponara is on his way out from Fiorentina. After loans with Sampdoria, Genoa and Lecce, Saponara is leaving Florence again and is nearing a loan deal with Spezia. The parties will align on the final details surrounding the player's wages in the next hours, and Italiano's team may try and get rights to renewing the player's rights at the end of the season. The player's current deal with Fiorentina expires in 2022. Last January, Saponara transferred to Lecce on loan after struggling earlier in the season with Genoa. By joining Spezia, Saponara will reunite with Sporting Director Meluso, as well as former teammates Dell'Orco, Deiola and Farias.
