Fiorentina is on the hunt for a midfielder and the latest name on the radar is Carlos Sanchez. La Viola in fact has made the first few contacts to set up the signing of the Colombian class of '86. Sanchez is coming out of a bad season with Aston Villa which lead to the club relegating to the Championship.
Aside for Sanchez, Fiorentina have also made an attempt at signing Lisandro Lopez from Benfica who had already been followed in depth, the past transfer window. A chapter which never closed and will definitely reopen with Fiorentina looking to strengthen the squad available to manager Paulo Sousa.
