Fiorentina, Commisso after meeting with Enrico Chiesa: “Talks are positive."

As Fiorentina tries to right their season (La viola are currently in 13th place), the club is also thinking ahead to the transfer market. There will be an objective to reinforce the team in January, but also the issue of Federico Chiesa's contract to resolve. Currently on a deal expiring in 2022, the forward is a prime target on the transfer market. The president of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, met with Enrico, Federico's father/agent and afterwards spoke to Sky Sport: "Very positive meeting. We met with Enrico for the first time, he is a great person and I remember when he played. Like any father, he wants the best for his son. He has a great family. As expected, things are going well. The meeting was very positive and we want to allow Federico to play again at Fiorentina. We hope that he's able ot play next weekend, I said yesterday it would happen but in reality we don't know yet. We can only hope. We will move forward and not discuss the future, thinking only about Fiorentina."
