An Argentinian 25 years old winger who have found his place in Norwich City, a team where he has re-born, fell and got up again. Emiliano Buendia is ready for tomorrow's most important game of the season for Norwich, as they could already grab a promotion in Premier League with a win: "The only thing that matters right now is keeping being ahead in the standings, above the second and third place. The dressing room is happy and is breathing the possibility of doing something very important for all of us. Last season we lacked experience in the key moments of the season, in Premier League you can't have mistakes".

Why a Mar de la Plata-born and raised guy is on the England oriental coast? "Norwich has been the best opportunity of my career: in Spain I wasn't feeling myself a football player anymore and I wanted to enjoy again the game. When I was in Getafe, this proposal from a Championship club convinced me. I had arrived in Real Madrid in the same years when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo, Kakà, Benzema and Higuain. Raul used to stay with me and the other cantera strikers: he was explaining us how to move, how to stay on the pitch and how to play with the teammates. I always wanted the number 20 as I liked Higuain very much: I was inspired by him, I tried to copy his movements".

But his Spanish first steps didn't end in the right way: he soon left Real Madrid, also with Getafe things didn't go well and in 2018 Championships arrived. Since he joined England, his numbers have incredibly grown, now with 12 goals and 16 assists he's the ideal attacking partner of goalscorer Teemu Pukki"We have a great friendship, on and off the pitch. I still remember the night before the match that led us to the first promotion in Premier League".

Not just the Premier League target, but also some thoughts on Argentine and the transfer-market: "My first target is to celebrate the promotion in Premier League, the second one is to continue growing and wearing the Argentine kit since it's a dream since I was a child. Covid maybe avoided me to change club as we've been talking a lot during the past summer, but it means I'm doing things in the right way. I could have changed club but I wanted to bring Norwich back in Premier League. I don't know what will happen in the next year, I follow the whole European football but I'm very keen on Premier".
