Former Chelsea defender Gary Cahill spoke on his experiences with both Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri when speaking with Daily Mail.
On Conte: "Conte is a great coach. He knew that formation like the back of his hand and there wasn't a player on the pitch that didn't know what his role was. Otherwise you didn't play. Conte and Mourinho's attention to detail never fell. They have a lot of confidence, an arrogance in a good way."
On Sarri: "He was very interested in his tactics, probably too much, and I lost a bit of his advise because I was busy with the World Cut. To be brutally honest, halfway through the season the relationship had finished. It's difficult to have respect for a few of his choices. But I have a lot for the club and its players. Was it easy? No. Was it one of the most difficult things to take on mentally? 100%. I knew in my head that if I played four or five games in a row, I would have returned. It's a necessary arrogance. But I never had that possibility."
