Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko had a disappointing first season with Roma to say the least following his transfer from Manchester City last summer. The striker has been rumored to be on his way out from the club but in an exclusive interview with Corriere dello Sport, he dismissed those rumors decisively.
"My future is with Roma, the rumors are only speculations. I'm thinking about doing my job. If I wanted to leave Roma I would have done so in January. A place in the starting line.up? I continue to train, then Spalletti decides what to do. Pjanic leaving the club doesn't change anything for me, I chose Roma regradless of who is here or not. Miralem's presence, who is a close friend, was another motive for accepting Roma's offer but I also know that we haven't always played together. His mive to Juventus? I udnerstand the rivalry, but it's not like he's signed for Lazio. Mourinho? I would like be coached by him, it's true, he's one of the best in the world but I belong to Roma."
