25 years old striker, Artem Dovbyk is set to sign a new deal with the vice-champion of Ukraine, SC Dnipro-1. The parties are working to sort the final details and are close to the extending the contract, since the current one should finish the end of this year.
Dovbyk has been the main leader of Dnipro last season and the best goalscorer of Ukrainian Premier Liga, scoring 24 goals in league 30 matches. Last summer, the Ukrainian striker attracted interest from many European clubs, particularly in Italy: Torino and Salernitana negotiated for him. Now, he will extend at Dnipro-1, but his name is still very appreciated on the Italian market, especially after such a great season.
