José Mourinho is back in Italy, this time on a shopping spree.
After having secured the services of Fiorentina's Cuadrado which was made possible by Wolfsburg's € 27 million plus bonuses offer for Schurrle, The Special One has his sights set on his former club's Argentinian striker, Mauro Icardi.
However, the former Nerzzurri coach won't make a move until June as Icardi's negotiations with Inter for an extension of his contract aren't being concluded, which could mean that the Argentine striker could be on his way out from Inter in the summer.
This is why Ausilio is already looking for substitutes in that he's made an attempt for Destro, unsuccessfully asking the former Nerazzurri player to be patient for a few months, as well as monitoring Gignac who's contract with Marseille expires in June. Ausilio is preparing for life after Icardi as Mourinho is back in Italy, albeit in a sightly different manner than when he won the treble with Inter in 2010.
