Maurizio Sarri celebrated a Europa League-winning season with his Chelsea team, who defeated Arsenal in the final. Next, the coach will think about his future: on Thursday his agent Ramadani will be in London to speak with the club and with Marina Granovskaia to look for a solution to let Sarri leave. On the other side there is Juventus, who are awaiting news of the meeting, counting on Sarri for next season.
Here were the coach's post-match comments: "We had a great season winning entry to the Champions League with the win in the Europa League. It was not an easy task given the level of the Premier League. In the offseason I think we will consider our season extraordinary. It's not an easy thing to come to a league that's so tough and become accustomed to it so quicky. There were difficulties, but from mid-February on I started seeing things evolve in the relationships of the players. Maybe I changed a little bit too."
"Hazard? I am sorry that he is leaving, he is an extraordinary player who can become even better. My situation? Now is a time to celebrate, sarting tomorrow we will evaluate the season as a whole. I still have two years on my contract left, but I think that a meeting is necessary. Napoli's compliments made me happy. The Neapolitans know well the love I feel for them and that last year I chose to go abroad so that I wouldn't go to another Italian club. But this job can take you on different types of paths, and it shouldn't ruin the relationship with Napoli and Naples."
