After bringing Duncan to Sardegna, Cagliari could reunite another former Sassuolo player with their current manager Di Francesco. In fact, the Sardinian club has contacted Torino about Simone Zaza to bolster their attack, the Italian international is also a target for Benevento.
However before Cagliari can close the deal for Zaza, they will have to move one of their current strikers: Giovanni Simeone is a target for West Ham, while Pavoletti could be used in a swap deal for Zaza with Torino.
