Today Atalanta mourn the loss of Mino Favini one of the top scouts in Italian football. The bergamaschi posted a note from president Percassi to announce the death of the 83 year old, Favini played for the club between 1960 and 1962 before overseeing the club’s youth sector.
Favini was known as the “Mago di Meda”, on his watch Atalanta became one of the best youth systems in Europe, countless Serie A players joined the bergamaschi before moving on.
