With Milan and Roma both dropping two points, and Lazio being defeated at home to Chievo, Atalanta has a big opportunity to take a step forward in the UEFA Champions League race. However, it will not be easy: today, Easter Monday, Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta will take on a hungry Napoli side at the San Paolo. In regards to his starting eleven, the manager's real doubt is linked to Josip Ilicic, who is still suffering from a knee problem that has affected him for a long time (and that during the week forced him to train separately). The Slovenian, however, will grit his teeth and start in his regular position alongside Duvàn Zapata, with Papu Gomez behind him. The alternative solution is represented by Mario Pasalic, who would force Gomez to play in a more advanced position. In the midfield, Hans Hateboer and Timothy Castagne will be on the flanks, with Marten De Roon and Remo Freuler central. In defense, Andrea Masiello and Gianluca Mancini are sure of their places, with one of Berat Djimsiti or José Luis Palomino alongside them. Pierluigi Gollini is confirmed in goal.
Atalanta (3-4-1-2): Gollini; Masiello, Djimsiti, Mancini; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, Castagne; Gomez; Zapata, Ilicic.
