After a life spent in football as club CEO of Milan under the ownership of Silvio Berlusconi, now Adriano Galliani spends his time in the world of politics. But the opportunity to comment on some of the big stories around the Italian game could not be let pass by, Galliani commented on the Champions League semifinal between Liverpool and Roma: “We are rivals in Italy with the giallorossi but we're allies in European competition. I will be at the Stadio Olimpico on May 2 to support Roma. Whoever does well rewards everyone, which is why it's important to have four teams in the Champions League, so how could I not cheer for Roma. Also, Liverpool reminds me of the final we lost to them in Istanbul, I didn't sleep for three weeks. So, forza Roma."
