Gregore Defrel has been linked to a move to Roma during the transfer window. Sassuolo's CEO Carnevali was interviewed by Sky Sport about it: "Defrel? No news. Our plan remains not to sell any important players in January but we shall see..." Roma continues to monitor the situation, as a move there is sought by Defrel as a chance to launch his career in a new club.
