Milan, Suso: “I’m happy here, we’ll see what happens in the future. We don’t need much for the Champions League”

After 31 caps, 7 goals and 10 assists, Suso has proven his worth this season for Milan. The Spanish winger is happy with his current club, and believes they don’t need much to close the gap with other teams who compete for Champions League qualification. Ahead of the derby, here is what he had to say:

“I don’t think there’s a favorite in these types of matches. They’ll come out guns blazing and demonstrate their will to win, they’ll surely be disappointed with how the first leg went. If I could, I would remove Icardi from their team, he scores goals. Also Banega, who is yet to show his best qualities”.

On his future: “I’m happy here, I don’t know how many times I’ve said it. We’ll see what happens this summer with the club. Closing? I don’t know if its better or worst, maybe nothing will change. When I was at Liverpool I went through a similar situation. I was young, and the club bought a ton of players, which lead to my exclusion. I doubt the same thing will happen here though. We don’t need much to aim for the Champions League next year”.
