Lazio-De Vrij, optimism growing on extension front: the latest

After locking up Milinkovic Savic, Immobile and Strakosha to extensions in 2017, Lazio are determined to do the same with Stefan de Vrij. The Dutch centerback’s contract expires next June, and confidence is growing that they’ll be able to agree to a new deal through 2019 or 2020. The final answer is expected to be given on Monday, at this point the final hurdle regards the exit clause, the player doesn’t want it to exceed 25 million while Lazio would prefer a higher figure.
