A career spent in one place, at least so far. When you think of Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez comes to mind. His passing, precision as well as his goals and trophies won together. He has spent his entire career at Barca- from the youth teams on, so far he has appeared in 458 matches while scoring 55 goal, while being a focal point in the midfield like few others. But he will leave Barcelona at the end of the season. This is story being reported by Peppe Di Stefano. After the World Cup the midfielder will likely say goodbye to Barcelona to join the New York Red Bulls in the MLS. Xavi still has a few years left on his contract at Barcelona, but the bluagrana won't stand in his way and will let him do as he wishes. The parties involved are negotiating, the deal isn't closed but is off to a good start. A Barcelona legend could be leaving for New York and the MLS.
