Fiorentina's executive president Mario Cognini spoke to Sky Sport about the Viola's transfer period, the club was able to keep Cuadrado:"The club always wanted to keep a champion like him on the team. We consider him a champion that can contribute a lot to reaching Fiorentina's objectives. The club always had the intent of keeping him in Florence and no official offer arrived for him" He then talked about Giuseppe Rossi who will have to have another surgery on his knee:"He represents the club's identity. I believe that with tenacity and great capabilities, he'll be able to reach the goal he's seeking. He'll make it this time too"
