The paths of Alvaro Morata, Romelu Lukaku, Juvetus and Wolfsburg crossed. Before the Spanish striker signed with Juventus, Wolfsburg moved decisively at the last minute to acquire him: they offered €4M wages, way more than the €2.3M he’ll make at Juventus. In the end, it wasn’t enough. Morata chose Italy. Consequently, now the German club target Romelu Luaku, who was Juventus’ backup plan if the Morata’s deal collapsed. A thick plot whose finale has yet to be written.
